Remember the times...

Yes I know it's a bad picture, but haha I don't care. That's the shortest I have ever and WILL ever cut my hair! When I was in Junior high there was no style like there is now for the junior high girls. I look at my pictures compared to my sisters around this time and she and he friends look like super models and here I am looking like a boy and a really bad part :)

Shake Ye BumBum

So I am sitting here studying right now and Janae just wants to play so she is crawling all over me and playing Peek-a-Boo, having me pretend her shoe is a drink and having me take a sip and pretending to be asleep so I can wake her up and all sorts of stuff (so I am not really getting my studying done) So I told her to go get her babies and put them to sleep and so she gets up and says to me "Shake Ye Bum Bum" and shakes it, then she said it was my turn so I did it, then she did it again, then looks at our Christus statue and says, "Jesus your turn! Shake ye bum bum!" LOL

OOPS!!

So I get a kick out of scaring people or tricking them, anything to get me laughing. You might think its mean but I think its funny, ask my mom I do it to her ALL the time and to Adam too. So Adam will do it back to me too and normally my reaction is to hit him in the shoulder, luckily that's not the reaction I get when I do it to him :)

So anyways last night Adam went downstairs and I was walking to the bathroom to brush my teeth when he opened the bedroom door and I had just started to pass it so I turned around and screamed AHHH! Well I didn't even plan on trying to scare him so it surprised him and surprised me that he had a FULL bowl of cereal to the brim. Well he jumped so high half of his bowl ended up on him and the floor. I felt sorry immediately and said sorry sorry, I will clean it up. Then he started bustin up laughing! So then I started laughing to the point of tears (which doesn't happen). Seriously I saw it in slow-mo...I scared him, his cereal sloshed up and over and out of his bowl. It was GREAT!! I am so glad he didn't get mad and is such a good sport with all my pranks

What A Weekend!!!

So I came back...even though I didn't really want to :) I missed my kids a ton but it was sooo much fun being with Adam. If you can believe it the first morning there we slept until 11/11:30ish. I would wake up and it would still be dark in the room (THANK GOODNESS FOR BLACK OUT CURTAINS, I NEED SOME!) then was like eh it's still dark good night. I didn't sleep good at all though because at my house I have my ceiling fan on high and then a floor fan on high and wrapped up in my warm blankets. But at the resort I had an itchy, thin, very uncomfortable blanket and I set the temperature to 65 and there was no ceiling fan, but Adam held me and kept me warm. Also, last time we stayed here with the kids they got to take advantage of the 2 person jacuzzi tub in the room, but this time it was all about Adam and I!!!

Kelly, I will post some more pictures from the past, but seriously I don't show them to anyone, I normally delete them or throw them away cause I was seriously UGLY!

5 YEARS!!

Today is our 5 year anniversary...can you believe it?!?! Its been 60 months, 260 weeks, 1,824 days, 43,776 hours, 2,626,560 minutes and 157,593,600 seconds that we have been married.

So this is what I have planned, when he gets off there is going to be his clothes sitting on the car for him to get ready into a nice outfit and also a blindfold where he will have to blindfold himself so he can't see me. Then I am taking him to Fogo E Brasa (thank you to Emilie for introducing us to that place, its all I can think about!!) Then blindfolded again and off to the improv for some comedy then blindfolded again and to a resort for the weekend but I am going to have the room set up with candles and rose pedals, a jacuzzi bubble bath, sparkling cider and all the trimmings. Then Saturday we are going to a something called the Mystery Mansion, where you eat dinner and figure out a mystery. So its going to be lots of fun, I am so excited!! Its always nice to spend quality time together and after 5 years I think we deserve it

I love you baby!!! Thanks for everything that we have been through its been fun I can't wait til for our next 5 years and making all of those memories!

"I LOVE YOU TO..."

So last night Logan and Janae helped me put the Christmas tree away. After we were done I told Logan I loved him SOOOO much and he said I love you this much (and stretched his arms out) then we went back and forth saying we loved each other to grandma's, moon and then I said I loved him to the universe and then he said, "I love you to McDonalds" I was totally laughing, it was so funny. Little kids say the cutest things.

Another thing Logan said....
My little brother, Colton, came home to visit cause he lives with his buddy and Logan hasn't seen him in a while and so excited to see him so they were just playing and then Colton was saying how he was tired and was going to leave then Logan chimes in and here is how the conversation went

Logan: You live here
Colton: No I don't anymore
Logan: Yeah you do remember
Colton: Nope I don't buddy
Logan: Yeah you have a room, come here I'll show you
He grabs Colton's hand to go show him

The next night Colton came back over and Logan had taken a nap in Colton's room that day and when he see Colton he says the following

Logan: Colton I told you you have a room, I slept in it today. See yo do have a room

Kids definitely just say it how it is, he was so sincere it could break your heart. He loves and misses his uncle Zoltan

2009 Resolutions Already Broken

So my main new years resolution was to make it to church every Sunday. I thought it was going to be a piece of cake because our time went from 1:30 (which is nap time) to 8am and I was all pumped about it. Well Saturday night comes around and we were at my uncles house in Peoria until 11:15 and didn't get home until 12:30 then was so tired we forgot to set our alarm clock and didn't get up until the kids woke us up at 9:30. So much for that one I can' even get through the first Sunday!!

I have been a total slacker when it comes to blogging I have a ton of pictures too from Christmas, parties, New Years so hopefully I get them up soon

2008 Going Out With a Bang

So at the last minute we got a dj gig from a couple and they were kind of nervous cause they have been to parties where the dj was horrible so they wanted to meet us to get a feel of us...and of course they loved us and we were hired. When we pulled up to their house I was like "WOW these are some wealthy people" Then when we met the wife Alissa and the husband Freddie I was like how in the world do these people have so much money cause come to find out they are only 30. My first thought is he must be a professional baseball player or maybe golfer cause he had just gone golfing earlier that day. Well come the night of New Years Eve a couple showed up and I immediately recognized them cause I had gone to junior high with them (what are the odds) so we started talking and I was like how in the world do you know them and she said she just started nannying for them then I asked what does he do and she looked me like what you don't know and told me he plays for the Pittsburg Pirates, he's the second baseman. WHO WOULD HAVE THOUGHT?! He and his wife were SOOOO nice and sooo much fun, it was our best New Years ever and a great crowd to celebrate with. They dance all night long til 3 in the morning!

The Most Amazing, Jubilent, Beautiful, Wonder Woman In The World

This is from my sister in law, Kelly Curiel....

Our family has suffered an immense loss. My beautiful mom has passed away on December 28th, 4:05 a.m.

My mom, Pamela, collapsed from cardiac arrest Christmas night. Raul and I performed CPR on her until the paramedics came and they attemped to revive her as well. After 20 minutes without a heartbeat they rushed her to the hospital where they finally brought back her pulse however she was dependent on a breathing machine.

It took 24 hours to find that she had also suffered a stroke and there was very little brain activity. After 3 days, in which Aubrey, I, Raul and my dad never left the hospital, my mom's brain activity completed ceased. We waited for my moms brother to fly in from Florida to say his goodbyes and released her from the machines.

My mom was my best friend. I spoke with her 4 times a day, everyday. Everyone who knew her loved her so much. She had dozens and dozens of friends from church come by to see her. They all loved her dearly. She was the most generous, gracious, and loving soul in existence. I know her family who has gone before her is thrilled to be with her now.

She will live on forever in our hearts and stories. The pain we feel from this loss is unable to be expressed. The magnitude of this traumatic event at such a festive holiday will never be forgotten. Our family has lost a piece of our hearts that can never be repaired until we meet with her again.

We love you mom. So so much. We cherish you.

(We loved Pam so much, she took GREAT care of us everytime we went to her house. My kids automatically adopted her as their grandma and she her grandbabies. She was so generous and took care of Adams every need always making sure he had Coke to drink and food to eat, and he gladly accepted. :) Her smile made me laugh and her smile would just melt you. The love she had for everyone always showed. I couldn't but help loving her to pieces!! She was an amazing woman and will be missed dearly. WE LOVE YOU PAM!)

Attack of the WHITE TRASH MOM

So if only you could have seen me today. Here is how my day started I got up at 5am with Adam to take him to work so I could drive to my mom's house and get my kids who stayed the night. So I grabbed my clothes and just went in the car in my pajamas. Well I realized once I started to get ready that I grabbed Logan's pants instead of mine. Luckily I lost weight and now fit into my sisters pants but also realized I forgot my bra. And we moms know how IMPORTANT it is to always have a bra and I had to run errands. So needless to say the kids and I went to Linens n Things and Mervyns and I was all natural (and you could SOOO tell there was supportage).

Then to top it off I didn't do Janaes hair but with a bobby pin and didn't even brush it and it was ratty oh yeah and I had greasy unbrushed hair too. When we were in Linens n Things Janae smelled really poopy like the whole store could probably smell it but I left the diapers in the car and was trying to hurry so I changed her in the car when we finished but she wasn't even poopy so who knows maybe it had to do with me being white trash. Then we went into Mervyns and I kept smelling it but just thought it was me and whatever but once I got home I checked again and she was poopy. Maybe she had gas....but wow I was pretty surprised with myself that I would actually do that. Poor Logan had to be in pubic with us :)

My friend and I saw a group of guys wearing white sunglasses and we decided there should be a rule that guys shouldn't wear white sunglasses cause its kind of gay, but they thought they were sooo cool

It's beginning to look a lot like CHRISTMAS!!

So yeah we got our Christmas tree up, thanks SOOO much to Adam for helping me out, I really don't think I could have done it better myself. So this tree has taken me 4 years to get it the way I wanted it because every year I would ask if I could buy all the decorations for the tree and he would say no just get one thing and so every year I would and then get it on sale so I could get two things and now I am so happy with it!!!! And all of our lights are up outside so yeah!

Where Did November Go?!?!

So yeah I just realized yesterday was December 1st am I the only one kind of stressed out that Christmas is around the corner. I hadn't even thought about making X-Mas cards yet, I better get on top of that pronto! And we have to put up our tree, decorate the house, make my parents X-Mas gift, make lots of junk food, study for school, all within like 3 weeks. Can we please pause life but keep going, like how Zack from Saved by the Bell did...I WANT THAT!! I have a whole list of stuff I should be doing, atleast my intentions are good but expect our house to get decorated like the week before Christmas and my parents gift to be half way done, and probably no junk food made and not as much studying done as I would like and all of it done most likely 3 weeks after Christmas....that sounds about right

FREAKIN AMAZING!!

So we are finally home from Utah and even though it was such a great vacation I am glad to be able to sleep with just a sheet and not two pairs of socks and pants and two shirts on a sweater, plus 3 blankets. We did lots of fun things, thanks to our handy dandy GPS system adam got for an early christmas present....anyways I will post more about our trip later I am too excited about what I was going to post about I just got a bit sidetracked.

....SO....

I was inspired while up there to cook because every morning my aunt made us breakfast and had lunch stuff prepared and made dinner. And I don't think I have ever been THAT good of a wife. Well I pulled out my recipe book this morning before I went to the grocery store because for like the past, FOREVER, I have just been winging dinner and not putting like any major planning into anything. Well I decided on this for the week 1. Loaded Sandwhich - bacon, avacado, lettuce, tomato, cheese, mustard and mayo on toasted french bread (I got my friend Shannon hooked on them) 2. Crockpot Enchiladas - red sauce with hamburger meat 3. Spaghetti and meatballs with homemade breadsticks (never have tried it before so we will see how it turns out) 3. Cafe Rio burritos with their special ranch sauce (I am addicted to that place!) 4. Tiny Spicy Chicken - found in cookbook, it sounds good and is super easy 5. Chicken Divan - I have had it before and I think it was good also super easy recipe

Then I made a list of desserts because I never make cookies or anything for Christmas so this year I want to be like the rest of my friends and be able to make them fat like they make me by bringing over tons of junk food :)
1. No Bake Cookies 2. Holly Cookies (from my amazing baker of a friend, Shannon) 3. Butterscotch Red Hot Cookies (also from Shannon) 4. Dump Cake also known as Pineapple Upside Down Cake (adam loves it) 5. Banana Cream Pie 6. Pumpkin Waffles

So today my kitchen and I finally became aquainted and we whipped up a banana cream pie and the cafe rio burritos with their special ranch sauce. I was feeling pretty good almost like Betty Crocker, I think she had some stiff competition. Adam said to Logan, well we will see how it tastes. Then all of the sudden I heard "WOW THIS IS FREAKIN AMAZING!!! THIS IS SOOO GOOD BABE, I LOVE IT!!" He kept going on and on, I think I blushed. He has never said that to me before, then he was like where have you been hiding this woman all my life? So YEAH TO ME!!! I guess maybe I set myself up for failure doing the best thing first hopefully the rest of the week turns out as good. And he better enjoy it while he can cause we know this can't possibly last long.

We are in Utah enjoying the great weather, snow and family. Cindy Price took these pictures of us just like two weeks ago and she did such a WONDERFUL job!! I am so glad we have some nice family pictures because the last time we got family pictures taken Janae was a month old...yeah I would say its about time.
