Oh Logan, you don't know how cute you are!

We were driving home from Fry's and Logan says the following

Logan: "Is the earth a big huge planet?"
Mommy: "Yes it is!"
Logan: "Its so big I can't even carry it!"

Can't describe how cute you are, the next segment shows his manly side...you gotta go when you gotta go!

Just pulled up to Costco a couple of days ago Logan said he had to pee I told him ok lets go inside and I didn't even get a chance to get out of the car and he was already out of the door with like 20 people around in front of everyone started to pee....NIIICE!!

The next morning I was out front talking to the neighbor turned around and he was in his one piece pj's unzipped them, was standing by the tree, hanging out and all, about to water the tree. He is trying to be water aware, trying to save me money by not using the toilet. How lovely!!


And Janae right now keeps saying she quits!! I love my babies!

LOGAN'S FIRST FIELDTRIP!!

Today Logan's preschool class went on a field trip to the Science Center and I got to be a chaperone. It was so fun! We also took one of Logan's schoolmates, so in reality it was like I had 3 kids. Silly Sheena doesn't believe in flats or tennis shoes unless your hiking so I wore like 4" heels. I didn't think it would be THAT big of deal....but after chasing JANAE and taking kids back and forth to the bathroom cause they all couldn't pee at the same time and walking from the parking garage all the way to the center and back, PHEEEWWWWW!!! I was tired! We went into the planetarium show which was cool, Janae might have ADHD, she will NEVER listen to me and can't sit still to save her life. She eventually winded up laying on her stomach on my lap with her head at my knees, pulled up her shirt so I could tickle her back....wow Janae I have spoiled you too much! Luckily when we got home the kids went down for a nap and so did I....I will post pictures when I have more time, HI-HO, HI-HO, ITS OFF TO WORK I GO!

Yesterday I was doing Janaes hair and she didn't really want me doing it, turns around and says


"YOUR FIRED!!"


Nice try, its not THAT easy! I'm in it for the long haul and am sure that is only the first of many "Your fired" statements!

HOLY COW THIS MONTH IS GETTING BUSIER AND BUSIER!!!

Betty Crocker....I Think NOT!!

WOW WOW WOW, I out did myself today. I thought I would be so nice and make dinner instead of letting the food go bad and just go out to eat. Ahhh cause that would be too easy....NOOOOO
(1) food to prep, (2) oven to heat up, (3) house to cool down because of the oven, (4) recipe to watch on tv a million times to get it right that was dvr'd, (5) dinner mess to clean up, (6) dishes to wash, (7) dishes to put away (8) food to put away, (9) counters to clean, (10) floor to sweep, nothing....maybe that's why I like to eat out so much. All you have to do is (1) order your food and (2) pay the bill

So here is how my night went
Decided to make lemony shrimp scampi pasta with roasted broccoli, sounds good huh, looks even better when a chef makes it. I started to make it, we are on a good roll I make my own broth with the shrimp shells, onion and some water. I let it simmer for 20 minutes then was supposed to drain it but into a pan that was on the stove instead without thinking I let it drain into the sink, broth and everything that was going to make the sauce for my noodles gone. So I now have cold broccoli, noodles and shrimp scampi but nothing to pull it all together with, I was going to throw the towel in but Adam came to the rescue and as usual fixed it and made it so good, better than I probably would have done. So I decided to make cookies, well Adam had to get a head start on them bc I had company when I joined the party I ended up getting flour all over the kitchen and realized I used powdered sugar instead of regular sugar and forgot to put my butter in which shouldn't be a big deal but I had quadrupled the batch so Adam again came to the rescue and mixed the butter in the whole batch. Now I sit here with every dish used that I own and now I have to wash them and for what 10lbs of cookies that are going to make me more out of shape than I already am?!?! Man I need to go to the gym right now!!


And that's why I don't cook :( I suck at it

CHICKEN AND PEE-WATER

Here is a conversation that happened in our car yesterday

ADAM: Is it wrong to feed a bird chicken?
ME: Is it wrong to feed a human human?
ADAM: Uh yeah...
ME/ADAM: Hahaha
LOGAN: That's not even funny guys
ADAM: Oh is that too dumb for your intelligence?

Logan is so cute!!

Then this conversation happened this morning

LOGAN: Mom, looooook....(pee on his bathroom floor)
ME: That was from Ginger huh
JANAE: No it was me
ME: It was you?! No way, what is it...
JANAE: Water
ME: Yeah?
JANAE: Yep
ME: What happened? {about to go smell it to see if she is serious, and I believed her}
JANAE: {whisper} uh, no...I think it was Ginger
ME: I thought so {yeah I wasn't really going to smell it}
JANAE: She's a bad girl. I think we need to get a new dog

MUD PIES FOR BREAKFAST MOMMY

My kids were so nice in letting me sleep in and wake up on my own yesterday. This is what I woke up to at 8am. I love their creativity!! The dog got in on the action too!

AN THE MOTHER OF THE DAY AWARD GOES TO...

NOT ME!! Sunday Adam was great, he played lots of games with the kids and I was like what is he trying to show me up? So I had it set in my mind Monday it would be Logan, Janae and Mommy's "DAY OF FUN" but yeah it didn't happen like that I woke up with a splitting headache and pretty much made a dent in my couch all day. I didn't take medicine because I kept saying I just need caffeine so I eventually gave up and got a Dr. Pepper at 4pm after watching The First 48 all day because I couldn't get off the couch I was in so much pain, I guess it didn't really help then I had a sugar free red bull, an hour and a half later another red bull but then some tylenol because I realized it was not a caffeine headache just the worst headache of my life, then 5 hours later I thought what the heck why not a Monster (my headache was gone) but then when I decided to go to bed at 3:45am it came back....Lesson learned?? I'm addicted to energy drinks even though they don't do anything for me they just taste AWESOME! :)

This morning I was regretting staying up so late (I did have to work though) but I came to the conclusion that they should legalize speed for moms, just a little but enough to become SUPER MOM!

Here is just a few cause I need to get off the computer, it is burning my lap I have been sitting here for so long, why oh why does that ALWAYS happen?! And I tell Adam he needs to time himself when he is on the computer, looks like I will be doing the same...

PS Adam is the best he just played bingo, gold fish and candyland - just for today he gets the 'PARENT OF THE DAY AWARD' but tomorrow its on like Donkey Kong

CELEBRATE!!

WOW I'm so excited. Two months ago I lost my $400 camera, not my proudest moment. I couldn't for the life of me remember where I last had it. It contained pictures from out family outting to SeaWorld and I was so sad it was such a great camera and I finally caved in and bought another one but it SUCKED in comparison. So I decided to organize my game closet because it had some boxes that needed to be thrown away and the kids would just put their games right inside the door when they were done playing with them and I get to Logan's birthday decoration bag and I knew there was a thing of stickers I had bought for the kids when they cleaned their room and helped around the house and I lifted up the bag and there, sitting beautifully was my CAMERA!!! I felt like I was in a dream holding out my camera twirling in a circle just me and my camera! Haha it was a beautiful thing so needless to say I am back in business and will take mucho picturos! And I have to upload our vaca pics - tata for now!

ROCKSTAR

Today the kids and I met Adam for lunch at Cafe Rio. We were in the middle of eating, I look at Logan he had his eyes closed and was completely rocking out with his air guitar to the song that was on in the background. It was so funny, he did it for like two minutes. I was silently (cause I didn't want to disturb him) rolling on the floor. It was truly truly the cutest thing I have ever seen and that is why I just love him to pieces!

RED BULL OR BUST

WOW I have no idea how I am awake and even functioning right now. Last night I had to work late and didn't get to bed until 4:30ish and got up at 7:30 with the kids. Janae tried to wake me up at 6:45 but I wasn't having that so she just sat on my bed and read her scriptures for 45minutes. Now normally it wouldn't be a problem because I would make them breakfast and go back to sleep and get up when I can actually be some use as a mother. The kids are really good except there is not a lock on the freezer and Janae has shark teeth so she helps herself to the OtterPops, but if that's all I have to worry about I'm golden! Anyways, I got the kids breakfast and was like ok I can lay down for 45 minutes before I have to take Logan to school. Then I choose not too cause I didn't feel that tired and I would just nap after I dropped him off. I went to the bank, grocery shopping for the baby shower tonight, came home, made THEBOMB.COM SALSA with my sista ate a lot of it, chased my dog down the street, (still want to nap cause I know that this isn't human like to run off 3 hrs of sleep) but now I have to feed the kids lunch, got to a meeting at work at 1pm then decorate for the shower, friends coming over oh yeah I really should shower and wash my hair I look tore up. Then put the kids down, and finally find my pillow and blanket and fan that mutes out the sound that has been calling my name since 7:30 this morning! .............. I'm not even tired which is so weird

Maybe drinking a Red Bull at 3am has something to do with it....I might hit another one up!

BIG CITY HERE WE COME!!

So this is only what 5 years in the making, but we are finally getting out of Maricopa and moving close to family and civilization! We are so excited, no more driving 45 minutes to get to my moms...so nice!


Man I need to post pictures from when the kids and I went camping with my parents and stuff, ok I will get on that asap, but not today :)

4th Of July

Found some pics I didn't upload from 7/4/09...I was very proud of Adam for getting Janae so cute normally he gets her ready then I get her undressed and redressed. But this time I couldn't get over what a great job he did!

The pictures are backwards from how the night went I'm too lazy right now to rearrange all of them. We went to Pacana Park in Maricopa for their festives and fireworks, it was such a great atmosphere, they put a movie on for the kids in one section, they had a DJ, tons and tons of vendors with lots and lots of fatty foods, lots of port-o-pottys, it was a great time!! Logan was so glued to the fireworks I don't think he breathed once :) I love love love him!
